In the beautiful July full of sunshine, good news comes from Europe unexpectedly. In the annual supplier convention held by Firmenich in Geneva of Switzerland where its headquarters is located, our company won two awards!
Firmenich, as an international company with more than a hundred of year’s history, is also one of the largest companies engaging in the research and production of flavors and fragrances in the world. No matter in technology strength or in sales, Firmenich ranks top among all companies in the same industry. What’s more, Firmenich is also our company’s strategic partner.
Firmenich’s supplier convention is held once a year, which aims to assess, appraise and reward important supplier last year so as to expect their better performance in the following year. With the extensive scope of the high standards, this assessment is the strictest in the industry. As a supplier, it is difficult to win a single award; while it is delighted that our company won two awards at the meantime this year, which are Best Performance Compliance and Best Supplier of the Year. This is also the first time that Firmenich gives two awards to one supplier.
In the supplier assessment this time, our company ranks first with 3.8 total points (the full marks is 5 points). The assessment covers 6 aspects including innovation, consistency, support, delivery, sustainability and finance, among which, consistency and finance take up the highest proportion in the assessment, which are 20% and 25%. Our company respectively got two impressive results: 4 points and 4.5 points. Moreover, in the other four aspects, our company also got a good score of 3.6 points on average.
Making achievements and winning awards cannot be separated from our staff’s hard work; these are the result of our efforts.
